lol, that’s why you can be Team Owen!
Wow, I just watched. Cutthroat but totally strategic, No one wants to be with Noelle at the end. No one.
I still cannot stomach the oily elevator salesman whose name escapes me. Time after time, players get sucked in by these con men and fail to see they’re being had—for reference, see Tony the lying cop, who won his second time playing. After watching Tony’s first game, how could anyone play with him without eyes wide open?
I don’t like him either. But as I recall, someone toward the end seemed to be getting wise to him.
It was unfortunate that her gritty rewards challenge win put the big target on her.
Gabler has put himself in a great position after a slow start.
IIFC, Tony had the Tyler Perry-designed “super immunity idol”, and it struck fear into the hearts of the other contestants, they were afraid to flush it out of the game, so they let him stick around and build even more power.
Noelle’s effort in that challenge was like nothing I’ve ever seen on Survivor, and I’ve been watching since Season 1. Every time there’s a challenge involving netting, I shudder at the thought that her running blade would get entangled.
Pretty brutal but strategic and she took it well. That challenge was amazing.
Agree that there was no way anyone gets to the end with Noelle and wins. In the end she probably realizes this and accepts it. She went home on the highest note with the highest praise.
OMG that water/tide/grate challenge. I had to pause the show a couple times to collect myself and I was on land!
As an Owen fan I enjoyed that Cody picked him as having the potentially having the most patience/skill/whatever to win that challenge. That’s a first for me I think to see the show call a tie and claim two people to get immunity.
Sami’s time clock was ticking with his lies and jumping from group to group. I’m ok with him going.
The water/grate/tide challenge was crazy!! No way could I do that!!
Images of “Deerhunter” kept popping into my head!
I think Jeff mentioned it was the first time they ended the game and declared 2 winners. I wonder if Cody also picked Owen because he seemed to be left out of knowing the vote and feeling vulnerable (I could be wrong on that). Someone who thinks he/she are in danger of being voted out might work harder to win immunity than someone who feels more secure.
Fun episode! Great move!! Every time someone gets confident!!
Still a bit confused as to why the person voted out did not have an idol. Great move and really sets up one player to win (if they can make it to the final).
Me too! Who gives their idol to somebody else to “hold onto” during tribal council.
Confusing.
So Jesse told Cody he thought Karla might have the Knowledge of Power advantage, meaning she could take Cody’s idol. On top of that, Jesse had been holding Cody ‘s idol for a long time. He said Jesse NOT asking to hold it again made him give it to him again just in case the knowledge of power came into play. He trusted him 100%.
Finally watched today. Totally enjoyable episode! Finale next week.
Finally a really great tribal council this season!
Poor Karla is in rough shape. Seems it might be hard for her to have success at challenges in the next couple days.
Big move by Jesse . I like him a lot. His determination is visibly evident. Some real respect their to see him offer his handshake to Cody. Often people who set someone up won’t even make eye contact with them
Shocked. That is all.
Owen was my fav and had it in his grasp - I think he was too quiet during questioning
Gabler did more in that last 15 mins than all season! Can’t agree with that win.
