I’m happy to see the opening credits return, but I wish they didn’t bring back “Previously! On Survivor!” It was 7 days ago; I remember the episode.
I watched today on the CBS website and as I recall, there was a “skip recap” button. Or maybe it was “skip intro”?
I’m not convinced mean girl Emily is gone. I think she has the goods to back stab at any moment.
The mother in me was yelling at Brandon in that puzzle challenge “PUT YOUR HAIR BACK IN A HAIRTIE!” - it was driving me crazy falling in her face and his constant hands throwing it back!
Haha, maybe it’s because you’re a young’un or maybe I’ve always had memory issues, but I very much appreciate the “previouslies” on shows I watch.
I was glad to see a change in the sit-out rule. It never made sense why the “no sitting out in back-to-back challenges” was reset every Tribal Council.
Saw this today about the sit out rule -
" The rule change is a direct result of what happened in “Survivor 44,” when Claire Rafson sat out of three consecutive challenges, resulting in her tribe voting her out unanimously. The audience uproar prompted Probst to announce on his “On Fire” podcast last spring that the rule “does need to be updated.”
Another result of season 44 - a new puzzle. I had to laugh when Jeff early stated about the tree puzzle “no one has tried this puzzle before”! - in reference to Carson and his home 3-d puzzles
So? The end of pathetic Lulu.
A bit surprised that Lulu had no shot at the puzzle. Interesting player went home. Was surprised Kaleb believed Emily. He will be a big target going forward due to his good social and physical game.
agreed.
I think it was a smart move on Kaleb’s part. Emily is taking his guidance and has show her loyalty. For someone who wants to be in charge, she’s a good person to keep around. That said, Emily is savvy. She is always thinking and calculating. Her problem is that she didn’t have a filter and shared her thoughts with everyone. I wonder if that will change with the swap.
I was pleasantly surprised that Kaleb believed Emily since it was the plan to tell her that Kaleb was going home. It was an entertaining episode.
I think he realized when his name was going to be used as a “decoy” that he needed to pay attention. I also think that Emily is easy to read. For as sharp as her comments come off she is sincere and probably easy to read when lying. Kaleb is quite astute; and seems to be able to read the room.
CBS releases deleted scenes after episodes air. I don’t consider them spoilers, however if you don’t want to know, don’t watch. Here is a deleted scene with Kaleb and Emily.
Also, EW ran an article titled, “Is Kaleb too good at this game?”
First of all, Kaleb is adorable. . So glad he didn’t go but also agree he will be a target as he has many assets.
I tell ya Emily is never to be trusted! I still think she would backstab in a heartbeat.
Can’t remember how to spell her name but the player that went should have never kept her vote - the temptation to have it much later was too tempting for her.
So I assume they are going from 3 tribes to 2 now? Not a full merge??
I think they are re-shuffling to get 3 tribes of 5–it’s hard to do challenges with just 3 per tribe (3 would have to sit out from the tribes not called Lulu).
I was surprised Emily was so bad at the puzzle. I am sure it is hard to be not right at the puzzle, but she didn’t seem to add much guidance.
And I think she knew it! Regret was all over her face.
Another drop-out Tribal Council. But I thought it was a good episode. Just what I needed after a crazy day!
Yes, it was crazy to have a second drop out this season. Again, I blame the casting department.
