Any tips/books/etc to raise from 2100-2400?

Hi. Does anyone have any tips or books to recommend to raise a score from about 2100-2150 to something a bit higher? Links to previous threads would help too...I've tried searching but I just can't seem to find a thread (or maybe my searching skills suck). Sorry if that's the case and thanks in advance.

the SAT 2400 book let me go from 1450/2100 to a 1520/2250. Seriously amazing stuff. Of course the Blue Book is invaluable, but I had a problem with math. I am only taking precalculus as a senior, so I had to brush up on my skills and teach myself how to solve types of problems my math class hadn't covered.

Also, this is just some philosophical advice. 2100 is a really good score-don't ever feel bad-but that last 150-300 points will be the hardest and most worth it. I remember thinking, as a junior getting back my Oct '07 scores, I can't believe I have to retake such a high score! But honestly, a lot of full tuition, etc, merit awards are available if you can score very high. What seemed like a "match" becomes a safety, etc.

Thanks. Do you mean the Barron's one or the Kaplan one? Which chapters in particular should I focus on? I've noticed both sort of reiterate stuff from their regular SAT prep books counterparts.

Yeah, I know. I just figure, the higher, the better. I might not retake if I get 2100-2150 depending on how well I do on my ACT (if I retake any of them, I'm only retaking one) though. It's just hard not to doubt myself when since I go to a hella Asian high school and am surrounded by 2280s who retake and have similar grades to those people. :(

study until your eyes bleed and when you close them you can still see SAT questions.

study until you can produce your own SAT type questions.

Oh...um...thanks?

But like study strategies from books (if so, what books) or like take millions of practice tests?

i reaaally like the princeton review book.. but everyone has different strategies I guess. The princeton review one definitely raised my writing score by at least 70 points though.

x2 on PR, I took a class and it was $800 very well spent. My practice scores during that course ranged around 1900-2000 and I ended up with a 2280.

I took a prep course which only helped up to a certain point strategy-wise, but forced me to take a practice test every Saturday for months which, while tedious, really helped. I also studied from the blue book.

I went from 2100 last Jan to a 2350 in Oct.

Vocab, Vocab, Vocab... if you increase your voab and sliiiightly increase your reading skills, your bound to go up by atleast 70 points on the CR.... as for the writing... you need good grammer, try the best you can to familiarize yourself as much as possible with the trends and for the essay, write a KILLER intro and a KILLER conclusion (11 or 12 definitely) your writing should improve by 80-150 points. Dunno bout math... just practice... extra practice= extra 50 points... thats around 250 points right there... give or take 50

you must also take up the whole 2 pages on the essay section (3-4 lines left blank at the end is not good enough)
