Congratulations!

Ron,

I think if you're applying as a freshman they take your SATs into consideration. If you're a sophomore it's based mostly on your GPA and slightly on your group / extracurricular activity.

You have plenty of things going for you Ron. You are in-state, your GPA is decent and seems to be sufficiently adequate for what Rutgers is looking for, and you have some extracurricular activity. The SATs are insignificant, especially considering you took them nearly 3 years ago. And finally, you're coming from a four year institution where pulling a 3.45 is often not an easy feat.

Obviously, nothing will calm your emotions until you get a response, but I really do think you'll be fine.

I had pretty good SATs and I am a freshman so you may be right.

mines is still in process but they finally updated my page .....so im guessing i will hear soon right?

i know everyones getting into SAS but did anyone who applied to SEBS get in?

Just checked my status page a minute ago and is still “in process.” I am wondering if anybody wants to use their crystal ball to try and predict what the final decision will be from the admissions department. Below are my stats:
-I am 24
-graduated high school with a GPA of 1.43
-after high school started up a real estate investment company
-currently work 40+ hours a week running my company while attending college
-applied to SAS with 21 credits and a GPA of 3.86.

did u take the SAT's ?.. cause they might still look at ur high school and SATs even though ur 24..cause u only have 21 credits. i have 20 credits with a 3.87 gpa and i got waitlisted to SAS =/

Nope, I never took the SAT's. I believe that they will look at my high school transcript, which really worries me, but I am not sure how they will weigh it.

Regarding the SAT/ACT scores, the Rutgers required credentials webpage states the following:
You are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores if:
You graduated from high school two or more years prior to the date you intend to begin classes at Rutgers.
You have finished secondary school and have subsequently completed 12+ college credits with final course grades available by the Priority Application Date.

About a month and a half from now I will have 32 credits with a projected GPA of 3.91. Do you know if you can resubmit your transcript if you get waitlisted?

meaning resubmit ur transcript when spring grades are in? yeah, i spoke to RUINFO and they highly suggest resubmitting updaed transcripts and any other credentials or information that may enhance ur application if ur waitlisted

i got into sebs driftingxdream and ron i did submit my SATs well they had them on file from last year so they just added them to my application and my SATs were not stellar at all.

driftingxdream, I got into SEBS and SAS, rejected from Engineering.

crossover, what were ur sat's

i'd say a 1700

Crossover, thats pretty good man. Thats like an 1150 in old SAT scores. Congrats!! Good luck! I have to study for a bus law test for friday. Im addicted to this site.

Mine were pretty atrocious- 1620.

They were the reason I got declined to Rutgers College to begin with.

I had an 1850, but Rutgers never asked for them so I didn't send them. My math was only a 500 and I've always been sort of ashamed of that.

how many people are still waiting. I know that ron is still waiting and i am too...is there anyone else?

im still waiting too..

my page hasnt been updated since 3/18/08.
