U mean they're tell you exclusive info you don't have access to on your status screen?

idk, maybe, worth a try

I haven't heard anything either. I would just like to know, good news or bad news, so that I can start making plans for next semester.

looked at my stuff AGAIN today and no answer. that bothers me so much.

driftingxdream i wouldnt worry too much i don't think its the matter of they looked at it and then put it aside i mean if you call they'll refresh it but i would double check

Guys, I think this is a good sign. The fact that we've been waiting 3 weeks, 4 weeks gives us a stronger chance getting accepted. If they wanted to reject us, they would of done in the first week. The longer we wait, the better. I dont know, I just got this good feeling.

Do you guys think i should call the counselor again. I called rutgers 5 times because my anxiety was so high. I just feel that i won't be able to perform well on my upcoming midterms if I dont get this reassurance from my counselor. Im worried they might think im a nuisance if i keep calling. They might reject me because of that. How is everyone else dealing with their rutgers anxiety. Im starting to lose focus on my work because this is occupying my mind way toooo much. Just have to wait it out. I guess...

they cant reject you for calling too much lol...if youre that anxious then call them agian

ron1612002..You need to relax brother..you are going to stroke out. Here's a little advice for you,and I think you should take it.If you don't get into Rutgers right away, apply to the the other Rutgers schools which are not as rigorous academically( so they say).Keep your grades around a 3.0 for at least a year, and then inter campus transfer. You will be shoe in.Don't go to a county college and then transfer.I don't care what people say,I have heard people with 3.75 GPA getting rejected from Mercer County College.Rutgers Newark would be your best bet.It is not easy to get into, but it is also not Harvard. Also, whats great about Rutgers Newark,is that you have a mini New Brunswick.Great professors, strong academics, and best of all...cheap. My friend Henry graduated from Rutgers Newark with a 3.8 in Biology. He went to Harvard Med school..early admissions. So we are not talking about William Patterson or Montclair State here.Good luck bro..and take it easy on yourself

honestly relax..take a breather

RutgersLa, are you sure about that. Someone from a CC with a 3.75 getting rejected. Must of been because of their SATs. My gpa is pretty good but not the best. Now you got me really worried. The more I delve into this, the more I get worried. Im transfering from a univeristy. It seems like everybody I talk to on this site gives me a different story. My friend who graduated from rutgers(NB) told me you need at least a 3.2. I have to disagree with you on the CC thing. I believe going to CC and transfering is the best move. Im a junior by the way. Im coming in with 78 credits with a 3.45. I would of has a 3.6 but intense accounting courses killed it. Look, I hope I get in but there always that uncertantity. I just need to know before i take my midterms. This way i can set my mind at ease. Good luck to everyone.

im pretty sure they dont weigh ur SAT scores if you have 12+ credits and final grades for those courses available.

but really though you gotta not focus on your answer from rutgers so much. i really dont have hopes for many of us getting answers this week. for all we know what happend to the freshman can happen to us and we'll end up waiting till about a few days before the notification deadline. learn to ignore the anxiety :) we'll find out eventually

Personally I'm not spazzing out... I mean, I don't know where you guys would be transferring from, but I do kinda like my current school. If I were to get rejected and have to stay here, it wouldn't be a big deal.

But I think that might just be my view on things. There are always options.

you guys are lucky that you aren't in my position. I don't here back until on or before June 30th haha so I seem to have quite the wait compared to others. However, I am a school-to-school transfer applying to New Brunswick SAS. I'm only a freshman and i had a 3.75 first semester and will have roughly the same GPA after this semester it seems. What do you think my odds are?

to me your chances look pretty high, i think its obvious with a GPA that nice. my guess is that you shouldnt worry at all

ron11612002..I am so certain about this because it was my neighbors son.I was shocked myself.I am not an admissions expert, but I can tell you this....the buzz around campus( and this just might be at SEBS),is that admissions has really upped their standards, because of 3 things 1)the criticism that Rutgers has recieved for being a "public ivy" and not living up to its reputation 2) the combining of schools and eliminating Livingston College 3) New faculty with one of the largest amounts of PHd's on the east coast teaching. Now people can dispute this if they want, but this was a conversation I had with 2 people who are working in the admissions office and transcripts.I am hearing, and maybe this was said for shock value, but they are going to require at least a 1200 SAT(old SAT) a top 20% ranking in class, alot of activities, and a 3.4 GPA from incoming freshman.Transfers are going to need at least a 3.0 to get into SAS or SEBS,and that is from another 4 year college.I have another mutual friend who is older who just got rejected from Rutgers NB.She was at County College of Morris, and graduated with a 3.34 from the Nursing program.I am not trying to burst your bubble here, but Rutgers wants to up the stakes with there incoming classes. They want to bring in the best NJ students and are making all the right moves to do it.

I dont know rutgerla, I just have to wait and see. Im not going to stress it. If there not looking at the SATs and you live in nj, your grades and club involvmment are the two most significant factors. I don't understand how the nursing student would get rejected. people told me they have friends with 3.0 and they got in. My cousin didnt have a 3.4 and he got in as a freshman. he had a 1280 though. rutgers isn't princeton so don't fall into that hype bull****. I know students from my hs who had mediocre GPAs and they got in. I guess everybody has a different story. Just have to wait and see ther true answer for yourself. So you go to rutgers. How do you like it?

I had 3.65 GPA in college. I'm a freshman and applied for transfer student.
But, my high school GPA was 4.2 weighted and about 2000 on SAT.

ron11612002..I agree with you..everyone has an admissions story about Rutgers. How do I like Rutgers? Well I am an older student( 39 to be exact).I actually am returning to Rutgers after a long hiatus.I orignally went to Rutgers on a football and wreslting scholarship. I was a great student in high school plus an all-state football player and wreslter.I left in my junior year to go to the NFL draft, but got cut after 2 preseason games. So 18 years later , three kids and wife I decided to finish what I started. To answer your question.I love rutgers and also hate rutgers.WhatI love about rutgers is that there are some really friendly and hot girls here( I know..I am married..but I can look ).The academics are top shelf and you get taught by some of the brightest people in there field here. The tuition is so cheap for such a great school. The bad stuff...some of the students here think they are hot $hit and have real attitude because they are smart.Because the school is so ethnically diverse, you have every tree hugging fruit loop correcting you on what is politically correct.Although most people don't give me any crap, because ,as one guy said to a mutual friend of ours..I look menacing. The professors think they are gods gift to the world. They make you feel like you have to give them fifty bucks after asking them a simple question. The campus is nice..but what I would call very pastoral.Hope this helps you out.

I just got my decision...accepted to Arts & Sciences, accepted to Biology and Biological Sciences, rejected from Engineering. NJ CC transfer in as a junior.
