honestly relax...

wow .. you really have anxiety problems... I am not even trying to make fun of you or anything but I truly think you need some medical assistance.

No worries Guys, Im becoming more optimitic. Im able to control my anxiety much better than before. I just have to ride this one out.

Hey ron11612002...what year are you in college and what college do you go to? I think I know a way you can get in,but maybe I am wrong.I had a friend who was in your shoes. He applied as a non-matriculated student and got in.He did and he didn't waste a semster. He he lost the money and credits for that semsester, but got a 3.65 and applied next semester as a matriculated student.I don't know if this still works and are you willing to give up a semester..but it can't hurt.Give it a try or talk to a counselor first...good luck brother, and don't get so down on yourself. My friend graduated with a 2.4 from caldwell college and makes over 7 million dollars a year..isloated instance, but it can happen.

RutgersLa, Before i jump to any conclusions, Im going to wait one more week to see if I get in. After that week, I will try your plan. I don't feel comfortable giving my personal info on the web. So I will email that too you using cc email after that one week. Im not even sure how to do that, but i will figure it out. Im am going to have to lose a semester if I reapply anyway. My housemaid said that governor corzine passed a new law that nj state schools are supposed to take up to 105 credits from a community college. Is this true? Also im not going to beat myself up, because either way im going to get a good internship in the city from both schools. Im a buisness management major and I plan to start out at a big corporation. The reason why I looked at rutgers(and this is so stupid and not true) was because my uncle said I would make a few thousand more coming out of that school. I really don't care about the name too much, im more concerned with the starting salary. Dont get me wrong, i would love to sport the "R" on the back of my jeep wrangler but my college would have to do for now. Back to what school i go to, how do i send you a private message? Also, my school counselor, said to just wait and lay off the situation for a week because my anxiety was too high and i was feeling sick. So just give me one week, and ill discuss more rutgers with you then. OK

Thanks
Ron

still nothing, booooo.

but the good news is that I found roommates for next year at my current college who don't mind the fact that I may transfer out. :) I really hope that Rutgers lets me know within the next week or so.

Got into SAS and SEBS the other day

I'm kind of an unconventonal transfer but, my stats were honestly not great. I certainly didn't have a 3.8 to transfer in with

thats awesome.. congrats:)

but what do you mean when you say that youre an "unconventional transfer"

Is there a way to call some number to request information about the decisions?

I put my applications in already in November, send my transcripts then and sent them again after getting the fall grades and my status is still "In process".

Call Ru Info or RU admissions. RU info- 732 932 4636, Ru admissions- 732 445 3777. They can check the status of your application. If that doesn't work, ask to speak to a counselor.

Im not even checking me status screen anymore. Im just going to wait till i get it in the mail.

Still nothing here. I think I'm going to call tomorrow.

njd if you call and get anything good out of it.. let me know. cause then ill call too

Yeah I'll definitely let you guys know.

just forwarded my highschool transcript today...now the long wait until june 30th

Guys honestly, I don't think we're getting a response till the end of March. Latest by early April.

probably so...

just talked to the dean of admissions today. said that all i need for a school-to-school transfer to new brunswick is a 3.00 GPA. Being that i ended first semester with a 3.75 I hope that i can get in for the fall of 2008

nice hey njd did you get a chance to talk to anyone there?

I called the number mentioned above, and the lady told me that if they did not receive all the required materials by Jan. 15, then one has to wait til mid-May for the decision. Sucks.
