Any UCLA Cognitive Science Majors?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I got into UCLA yesterday as an Anthropology major but ultimately want to change to Cognitive Science. I'm missing only the 2 calculus classes (one of which I'm taking this summer) & the objective c++ class. I understand that if I change to CogSci, I'll be considered a pre-major until I finish all the vital prereqs. </p>

<p>Is there anyone who is contemplating on doing the same thing or already made a change like this in the past? </p>

<p>I'd appreciate as much feedback & advice as possible for what I need to do, individuals I need to contact, & overall steps I need to follow</p>

<p>All I know from other students was that making the change to another non-impacted major was possible on day one but I don’t know who to consult to make this change of majors. Please help-</p>

<p>One last question: will I be able to notify them of the change online or do I have to consult with the department head of psychology to make the major change to cognitive science?</p>
