Does anyone here know from past experience about some good universities for engg. which are not need blind to intl's but offer good scholarships (say like 30-50%). Also I would be gratified if anyone could give me a link to a website which lists scholarships available for internationals studying in the states.</p>

I suppose you meant grateful? gratified = satisfied, which doesnt seem too possible, seeing your posting frequency :p</p>

I don't really think this info is accurate though. I mean it has a higher number of students listed who get aid..or maybe it is a cumulative record (like all 4 yrs or so).</p>
<p>There are also colleges with academic scholarships, like City College of New York (it's like few streets from Columbia) - I'll be going there since I didn't have money to pay for Cornell. I got 5000 per semester which practically covers tuition (I pay only about 1k) Also if u get into CUNY honors program over there u get a full tuition, laptop, 5k for research...</p>
