My D and I had the best of intentions...start on college apps back in September....consider....polish....edit. ....contemplate...and here we are.....7:35 on the east coast...and D is screaming and yelling at her computer (and laughing some too...we even had a power outage two hours ago! LOL).

6 of the 7 colleges went in...but she left the most important one (georgetown) for last simply because it means too much..know what I mean? And here is the nuttiest part beyond nutty....at 3:15 this afternoon, she changed the entire topic of her Walsh School essay because the other one just wasn't working.

i'm going to pour another glass of chianti...

I’m sure she is not alone. In fact, I would advise her not to wait until the last minute and to submit it as soon as she feels she can, because I have heard of so many students trying to submit at the last minute that it is hard to log on or submit at that time as the website is in heavy use.
Let her know. Then go pour yourself another glass.

Yes, DS even cleaned his room today to avoid the essays for a bit. One school’s website keeps crashing which added extra frustration. Sorry about your power! I hope your daughter’s Georgetown gets done!!
