i m still thinking about it though, cuz the only reason that i would go to wash u is pre med, berk's engineering is just so much better than wash u

Is it? We've established that engineering at Berkeley is more well-known and higher ranked, but it's not clear that this means anything to you.

I mentioned in my post on your other thread that students are equally impressed with Berkeley professors as WashU professors-- many say that the WashU profs are better.

Please re-read my post on your other thread.

I got in off the waitlist. A rep called me last Thursday during the day. Oh and I applied to Arts & Sciences.

are you going?
cuz i don't think i m going

are they going to send u an email at all?

probably not cuz i didn't get one

i heard that you have to pay $100 to be on the waitlist... is that really true?

no, you just have to say yes.

The $100 is if you want to be put at the top of the list.

;)

wow..what if u still dont get in!! =.=
(is it worth it?!)

if you are one to live life and not want any regrets, yeah, id say it is worth it.

and plus, if you dont get in they send you a complimentary postcard for your donation!

Jota, i think you may have solved wustl's fiscal problems. Telling CC kids they can move up on the waitlist with $100 donations.

Well yah, if they waitlist as many as they do...whew...its another million! ;)

I really dont know the numbers for sure, but 10,000 is a solid, round number!

i edited cause i did poor math...this may be why im on the waitlist!

i got in and i never paid the money lol

I got into Emory this morning, holllllla.

I got in off the waitlist today!!!!!!!! I have to decide if I'm going there by tomorrow though . . . It's gonna be a tough decision

do they offer financial aid when they call? or are they unwilling to donate? ;)

i dunno . . . i'm borderline for financial aid anyway

when they call you, what do they say?

i called again today and they told me that financial aid or scholarships are not available at this point

i got in off the waitlist, but i'm pretty partial to barnard.
what do you guys think?
