It's only choice 2 though. What I'm really waiting for is College Park!

I'm in - yahoo!

TerpHopeful - I'd love CP too - but figure my chances there are slim to none - but I'm still hoping.

So in the world of reality PSU is my best choice - haven't heard from them yet - argh.

But UMBC is a great school - especially if you are interested in the sciences - just wish it wasnt so close to home.

wait.. where do you guys live? i havent got mine yet!!

I'm only a half hour from UMBC - if you're out of state you'll prob get it Monday

hey, does anyone know whether they send out scholarship info. with your acceptance or later on?

I'm guessing later on. I didn't have anything about scholarship with mine. Just stuff about residence really.

OMG it didnt come today either. I just called them and they wouldnt tell me the result!...:( I am loosing my patience here!

I heard scholarship stuff comes out about a week or so after acceptance. They're mailed out ROUGHLY around the same time, coming in different envelopes. The woman I spoke with in the scholarship office, who was extremely nice, told me to expect scholarship stuff sometime around Christmas.

Oooh that's good news!

that's good I am wishing for a good scholarship ahah

Got my scholarship stuff in the mail today:
they're offering me the Presidential Fellow Scholarship: 5k a year (since I'm instate)

I just found out though you cant get multiple merit scholarships from UMBC though, which is frustrating, because I'm applying for a Scholars program, which is part program, part scholarship.

I was hoping they'd end up paying me to go there ;)

Son got his today too. President's Scholar Award $3,500. He wants a full ride too, but it does cut the tuition down alot. They don't give a lot of $$$ at state schools so we are thrilled with any money they throw our way.

I guess I'll get mine tommorow since I do live in MD hahaha hopefully! I get a good scholarship

Woo I got offered $1500 a year. "Dean's Scholar" award. That's exciting.
I'm still waiting for CP though :D

did you have to apply for this scholarship or is it automatically done? cause I haven't received anything yet =(

This should help you. I pulled it from the website.
