Alright, so I took the SAT on March and I got:

Math: 800; Crit: 670; Writing: 680 (11 Essay)

Does anybody think I should retake it to get it up a little, or is it a "Rice Score?"

If you think you can improve, sure, why not. If not, then it's fine as it is.

hmm, that's kinda the range, I got into rice with 10 points higher than you...but then again, I got a 35 on my ACT. Your essays are going to be the most important part of your application, don't screw them up

Yea thats what I was thinking too. Thanks a lot

well it wouldnt hurt to take it again since you only took it once (i took it twice).

if you feel like reading & writing arent your strong points, and that those scores are expected, taking it again prolly wont help you too much, though you might be surprised.
if you feel like your scores were surprisingly low, definitely take some more practice tests and then retake the test later. most colleges look at the highest scores from all the tests together, so you dont have to worry as much about math and just concentrate on your reading & writing.

good luck!
