Retake the SAT?

Is it really work four hours of my life wasted?

I've taken the SAT I twice. My second score was pretty good: 2050 (CR780, M600, W670). As for subject tests, I did pretty well (2110 for three combined).

I know if took it again, I could raise up writing, but most colleges don't even look at writing (plus, I submitted some amazing essays!). The only thing I want to raise up is math, and I don't think I'd get more than 20 points more, you know?

Some of the schools I'm applying to that I'm a little low (SAT wise) for are UChicago and Rice.

Obviously I'm ridiculosly lopsided (only in SATs, though! I just suck at math :( ), so should I just hope for the best, or actually wake up, drag myself through a test I will barely raise my score for, then pay a crap load of money to have the scores sent to all of the colleges I'm applying to.

basically... Should I, or shouldn't I?

THANKS!

M-600 looks a little low. I say study for Math and a little for writing then retake.

^Agreed. 2050 is low for Rice and very low for U of Chicago, which, despite its high acceptance rate, is as selective as low tier Ivies.
