<p>Um.. one of my friend wanted to take AP art class
but none of her local schools offered the class</p>
<p>So she's thinking about studying the exam alone...</p>
<p>I mean.. she's pretty good painter i give u that...</p>
<p>Ah.. does anybody have any information on Ap art exam and how it works?
I heard there is some kind of portfolios or something that is to be submitted on the day of exam.. well..i dont know for sure..</p>

<p>I'm taking it.</p>
<p>You submit a portfolio of your work. First you have a few, like 4 or 5, of your best works, just to display your talent. Then you must have a concentration, sort of a theme, to which many (I think it was about 10) of your pictures adhere. Then you must fulfill a requirement called "breadth", where you demonstrate various skills like shading, positive/negative space, contrast, etc. </p>
<p>I'm taking it with photography rather than painting, so it may be slightly different. But I hope this helps.</p>
