<p>The answers are (1) it varies and (2) look at the CGS website and that is explained to you. You go into a BU college; it's not a transfer.</p>
<p>I'm a CGS Freshman and to answer your question...very rarely do I ever find myself looked down upon. CGS is the second largest school within BU only behind Arts and Sciences, so there are a lot of underclassmen in CGS and upperclassmen that came from CGS. </p>
<p>After 2 years in CGS if you maintain a certain GPA (2.3 for CAS and a 3.something for SMG and a few other schools) you make a very smooth transition into the school of your choice, and you get the exact same diploma as everyone else.</p>
