Now, the reference to ED1 financial aid is missing, but I don’t see any other info on merit fin aid – is it working for anyone else? We are really hoping for some merit aid.

so, that is a sigh of relief!

mine even not have these phrase…

calmom, we’re in the same boat - no info on merit or need-based aid. I can only assume that this info will be included in the hard copy in the mail.

Waitlisted. ■■■.

denied admission!

@space-case

Thank you verrrrrrrrrrryy much!!!..
Your words really encouraged me !!!

My son was accepted and we are all delighted. Like Californianmom (we also live in California), we are anxious to hear about merit/financial aid.

Will anyone on this forum be attending the admitted student receptions? We are going to have to figure out the best way to get from San Diego to Grinnell, Iowa.

Carpool anyone? (LOL)

Will we be getting our financial aid offers in the mail? I’m pretty worried right now because if I click the “Financial Aid Award Letter” link on PioneerWeb it tells me it “can’t locate any award letter data.”

Congrats Worthyscribe and Calimom My son got in too. We are from CA and visited and did an overnight in October. There are a lot of kids that go to Grinnell from Cali.

PS my son got in ED and when it went online you needed to click the “services” tab at the top of your screen to see the aid and or merit aid awards letters. Not sure if they are doing it that way for RD. Let me know if that works. You will also get a hard copy of the merit letter with your admission letter in the mail. PSS I did not know to check on the services tab and was on pins and needles for days until I called and asked. When I clicked on services the merit letter was there. Phew!!!

jordanxbaker,

TRY CLICKING ON THE “SERVICES” TAB AT THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN. READ MY ABOVE POST. NOT SURE IF THIS WILL WORK. BUT IT DID FOR US WHEN SON GOT IN ED.

Everything looks fine now, but there is no info about financial aid…

Has ANYONE applying RD got fin aid info yet? If not, I won’t worry (yet).

Thanks d’smom, that’s what I’ve been trying but it still says there’s no award letter data for me. Guess I’ll just have to wait til it comes in the mail.

Dont’ worry californianmom, it will come. They also told me once that the award letter can sometimes follow right behind the letter of acceptance by a couple of days. It will come. Congrats to everyone who got in and don’t give up if you have been wait-listed.
