SAT456, the same loan amount for me. Are you gonna attend anyway?

SAT456: Is that the loan amount they give you per year or per semester?

@ proztozina- The extra 1000 euros that they have added in my EFC are gonna create difficulties for me. Plus, there are so many other costs involved like health insurance, semester ticket etc. So, I am not sure what will I do. What abt u? Do you have any options other than Jacobs?

@ lunalovesome - That’s per year.

Did you get the same loan amount?

@SAT456 If it were only the loan, I’d be thinking about going, but my parents can’t afford what Jacobs thinks they can, so no, I’m not going, even though I wanted so much.
Yes, I got a full ride scholarship at ULM, so I’ll be moving there.
What about you, any other options?

Oh, congratulations for that full ride scholarship. Btw what is ULM? Is it university of Loyola Maramount?
Yes, I also have a couple of options in US. Btw, what’s your intended major?

Thank you! It’s University of Louisiana at Monroe.
I haven’t decided yet, biology maybe)
I hope that in any case you’ll end up at some place that will make you happy! :)

@Prostozina- Thank you very much. I am hoping that too.

My EFC is 6.000 euros per year, which is exactly what I have told them. The loan is 7.500 euros per year, which is quite a lot, but then I guess it’s worth the effort. Anyway, Jacbos is the only college I have been accepted to, so yeah. I have no alternatives.

@cia3194, have a great time in Germany then! :)

How are the job prospects for Jacobs University graduates? I intend to do EECS. How difficult is to find a job for internationals in Germany? With a huge amount of loan, one would obviously look to get a job as quickly as possible.

I am an international who does not German at all.
