<p>Any help or general ideas about pre-pharm at UT?</p>
<p>I see on the prerequisite page that they view favorably volunteer/work hours. Is this in any area or pharm specific? How does one get volunteer hours in pharm this early in the game?</p>
<p>I'm pretty sure they would value any volunteer hours, but more specifically related to the field - perhaps try volunteering at a hospital's pharmacy department? I know of friends who became pharmacy techs to make money and get experience in the field for their application.</p>

<p>I wouldn't have thought HEB, being a chain, would allow a high school kid to work around drugs.</p>
