<p>I see a reoccurring theme here “Kid happy with choice and parent(s) not wanting to throw away other acceptance letters.” That would be me. I made D sign each notification…and she was happy to be doing the “rejecting” for once. Table turned when she had to call swim coach for one of her rejected schools and tell him she was not going to be swimming for him in the fall. She felt really bad after that conversation, he told her if things changed to let him know. </p>
<p>I still have two colleges I have held off having her notify. One is a waitlist school that I am not sure she should remover her name from…but she has already mentally moved herself in to her dorm room at Case Western. She knows her roommate and they are getting to know one another via facebook. I guess I should just move on (like her).</p>
