Anyone else feels like the ACT English (Oct 27, 2018) was HARD?

I can’t be the only one. I took the ACT in June and got a 34 because it was so easy and straight forward. The English on today’s ACT was significantly harder in my opinion. My friends said that too.
Did anyone else take it and has the same feelings?

I thought that it was harder than usual given all of the “If the writer were to…” and “For the sake of logic”… questions.

Science killed me

I thought science was WAY harder this time!!!

My D told me the science was tough. Science is her best section usually. She took the ACT last year as a sophomore and got a 33 in the Science, but in the October test she is not confident in the science. She said the rest of the test was pretty good including the essay section. Many on other forums are saying the science was quite a challenge so we’re hoping for a favorable curve.

Yea guys I agree: the science was harder than last time too. Luckily it was more chemistry based (at least for me), so I had an easier time than I would have.
@SuperBigMusicLover Agreed. The one in june had like 3-4 of those questions. This one had a whole LOT of them. I was hoping for more grammatical stuff (which is what I’m better at).
@neonpinklime What do you exactly mean by a “favorable curve”? Please explain.

Well guys, I got a 26 on English… went from 32 to freaking 26. And writing went from 9 to 8 (and barely an 8: [8, 7, 7, 8] ).
Still, composite went up by 1 point.
