michigan... don't think, just do it.. it was SOO awkward.. but def not worth it. i wish it was worth it, lol... i did get a letter telling me I got waitlisted by Notre Dame, and i don't even like ND

im from connecticut so i kind of have hope
hahaha should i do it i dont even know where my mailman would be right now i guess i'll stare out the window for a while??

i didn't know where he would be either... i just drove around until i found one and asked if he was my mailman and he said yes... and looked thur his little car thing.. lol.. you should, i think i need to start a trend for this.. ambushing mailman around the world..

I got the blank line today too! well CMU has really ****ed me off with its admissions process> JUST TELL ME!

I think the blank box under Admissions Doc Rec is where they will check off that you sent in your enrollment/deposit. You wouldn't need that box in you records unless you were accepted.

-sara

^^ huh? elaborate...

sara is implying that the blank box means u are in! well lets see- we'll know in another 12 hours!

oooohhhh.. lol i hope she's right then...

how does that make any sense, as the blanks are already dated (anytime from february to late march?).

There would be no purpose to adding a box to the ad doc RECEIVED column after they made a decision on you unless it was to indicate that you accepted or declined their offer, right?

-sara

^^An acceptance decision triggers the creation of the now needed box, so they when you, or they check your file is a few weeks they and you know what you've sent in.

-sara

scrambled one handed typing, but you get it.
Also, it's pure speculation on my part.

-sara

i dont think adding boxes to begin with is an onerous task; but say it was? still doesnt explain the fact that the blank is dated before anything was received... why not just leave the box entirely blank and dateless? and, furthermore, some people who were blank-less received acceptances online already?

There were other dated blank boxes earlier on my file that indicated docs that hadn't been received, like my hs transcript. The date changed once they were received.
Like I said just a guess on my part.

So how long does it take for an oversized packet to mail cross country?

-sara

more than 2-3 days

so i was accepted on thursday and even i blanked...and i'm still blanking...

i got the same thing cubsfan, a new blank for 25-march and no decision. what is going on? i thought the site said the last day to receive decisions was yesterday

as much as I want to believe the blank means you are accepted, I have a blank and my chances of getting in are extraordinarily slim

well all i can say is blanking doesn't mean you "aren't" accepted because of my previous post...don't know if it means you "are" for sure accepted though even though i have a blank...
