<p>i’m hoping they are not letting only the accepted people hear back first…because i really want my friends to get in.</p>

<p>i dont know, my stats seem pretty similar to those accepted, and i dont think applying to CMU is as much as a crapshoot as it is in the Ivies etc…its fairly predictable at CMU</p>
<p>well it really depends which schools you applied to. this year, from what i hear, there’s a huge increase to the already competitive scs school (because of cmu’s #1 at dharpa grand challenge). <p>yup, cmu is know for 2 things: best computer science program and best theater program (of those two the theater program is the harder)</p>
