I do so well in class, I do my classwork, finish all assignments on time but then when I get home I just cannot motivate myself to do my homework. Even though it's never been a problem in the past this is Junior year and I really need to keep my grades high. Anyone else do the same thing. I feel like such a horrible student, especially when I visit these forums.

Lol, I haven’t done anything much this year either and i’m a junior. :(

I just completely lost interest in school, heh. School is more like a choir than anything else.

I’m in two AP classes that I love (APUSH and AP art) then the rest are just honors classes. I’ve always had the homework problem and teachers always tell me I could be pulling straight 90’s if I handed in all my homework.

I’ve had this problem for my entire educational experience in existence (okay, since middle school)…I constantly had subpar grades in homework and in my freshman/sophomore years I rarely, if ever, did hw at home.

This year as a junior, I’m trying to do it a bit more, since I know that work ethic is, well, obviously important for later on in life.

But I still only spend like 1 - 1 1/2 hour max at home, with 5 AP’s. Try to work fast, get as much as you can done at school, use your time, etc…it shouldn’t be that bad. I normally have 3-5 hours of free time daily even during weekdays to chill and waste time in front of my computer like this doing nothing.

Basically I have no free time during school, I have 7 full periods of instruction with no lunch or break period. I think I have to start going to the Library to get full on concentration time.
