Anyone else just waiting for the day they can get the hell out of their High School

Amen. I can't wait to get the heck outta HS. And start all over. I'll miss some things, but not as much as I'll love leaving some things behind =]

I don't want my high school life to end because its so fun right now. As senior, I don't have to work as hard as Sophomore and Junior. Once High school ends, there will be 2 months of break, then its college.

Are you kidding me? I feel like I'm working twice as hard now that I'm a senior; I just don't care enough to do all that work.

yeah arent we all ready to get out? who actually likes high school??

amen brother

crazyapp: Did you fill up your senior classes with all APs?

At my school, second semester doesn't matter,it does not have an impact on class rank, because it's not counted. Major senioritis takes place during second semester, because of that policy. I'm so ready to get out of school for the summer...about 30 more days until school is over!! I'm only a junior at the moment, and I'm ready to get out of high school permanently.

im a junior and im ready to get out now. college will be so much better becuase the people there are there bc of their hard work and they earned a place at the school and actually care(at least thats what kind of college im going to), hs people are there bc of concidence, bc they happened to live by you. OMG i can't wait. COLLEGE will definelty filter out all those dumb ignorant people who dont care a thing about their future. YESSSSS, one more year.

Tenchi: as much as possible...I know, shoot me. I'm taking AP Euro (which I found out is a lot more challenging and demanding than AP US), AP Physics (this class is a joke--I'll be lucky to get a two), AP English (I'm pretty good with English, I guess), and AP Math Analysis (I love this class). At my school, with the exception of Math Analysis, we are REQUIRED to take the AP tests or we won't get credit for the classes.

It's nice to see so many fellow CC posters share my sentiments. At the moment, I really don't give a damn about anythng anymore. Lol, hopefully this feeling goes away when I start college.

My high school is sucky too. It's 97% white in a 98% white community. 1/3 of it is an agriculture wing for farmers. Only 52% of kids go to some sort of "college". The rest farm, go to the military, work, etc... Of the kids that do go to college most go to a community college or the local state college. I am one of only 3 people that even applied to an Ivy League (only one with a positive response). About 15 people are actually going to pretty good colleges (only a couple got into great colleges...like a really good friend of mine got into Middlebury and some other good ones and then the #1 got into a good technical school). Many people at the school are racist and homophobic and such. Many of the people suck. But hey I am LOVING senior year. I have more friends than ever and I'm out every weekend. I've been captain of sports the last 2 seasons and I'm having a lot of fun doing them. Classes are great and I have been having a good time. I can't wait to get out of this town but I'm depressed about leaving my friends and family!!! (It feels good to say all of this but it kinda makes me feel like an ass lol)

-To College!

Put me on the roster too!

I get out of high school May 28, 2007. GRR I hate being a junior. :(

I cannot wait to get out of school period, and that won't be happening until August 2013 at the minimum...

Hey school can be fun. Going into the work force isn't NEARLY as exciting to me as going to college...

May I please call you FiggyNewton?

I hate high school, I almost graduated a year early because it was getting to pathetic, but I decided that too late to get into any good colleges. So now only 6 weeks left till I'm done and I'm at a college all day for joint enrollment. No more high school bull*****!

No, school is nothing but unmitigated stress and hell, and it won't be changing anytime soon until I choose to make it happen; barring certain things those things will not be happening (exercise, breaking the wall of timidity, and so on).

lol that is actually one of my little used nicknames (Fignewton). I have lke 20 nicknames lol.

But ya, It was so funny last week...my friend stayed at Middlebury for the weekend and when she came back she was COMPLETELY over highschool. It was so funny because I remember feeling like her sometimes. She was ADD in some of the classes because she was so excited for college and whenever people did really immature things in track and such she would just walk away saying about how people are so immature (she was saying it in a funny way to smile about, not an ass/cocky way lol). It is so funny to watch...

If I don't do sports in college I hope I still workout! Sports keep me motivated and in great shape so I hope I keep it up! haha

Exercise is very good my FiggyNewton.

lol maybe studying at the treadmill will work out...or maybe even "resting my eyes" while running on the treadmill hah
