I’ve been accepted into the University of Cincinnati, and I applied well before Dec.1 which is the deadline for almost all of their scholarships, and I’m kinda freaking out rn. I have 3 more days of high school left and I’m coming out with a 28 ACT and a 3.75 unweighted average GPA so I know I qualify for a decent number of their merit based scholarships, yet I have heard absolutely nothing yet! I have however received my FASFA loans already, but I don’t want to accept them yet till I know how much scholarship money I receive. Anyone else in the same boat? Do you think I have received some but just haven’t gotten anything in the mail yet? I have experienced very delayed news since applying to UC so this isn’t exactly new, it’s just cutting it close this time lol
Here’s a thread discussing U of Cincinnati scholarships.
Could you have missed a letter delivered by regular mail? I think if I were you I would just call the financial aid office and find out what’s up. Good luck!
Call the Admissions Office and ask if you were awarded any merit. Also, look online at your portal and see if any scholarships were awarded.
It is possible that you weren’t awarded any merit scholarships UNLESS your stats were high enough to get an assured scholarship. If UCinn doesn’t have assured scholarships, then everyone who “qualifies” isn’t going to get one.

It doesn’t appear that their merit scholarships are guaranteed.
The school would have likely awarded their scholarships before the May 1st deadline. Ask if you rec’d one, but be prepared to learn that not everyone who had “good stats” got one.
I would at least make the phone call if you have not yet
Harsh reality but that test score and GPA isn’t competitive enough for scholarships at many/most schools.
Welcome to college.
If OP calls at least he will have certainty and at least there is a possibility that there was a communication glitch.
