<p>I just thought I'd ask. </p>
<p>Anyways, it was a lot of fun, and a big suprise (especially since I was planning to study for the SAT instead of going to Homecoming.....). </p>
<p>So please, y'all, post your stories. I'd love to hear them!!!!!</p>
<p>I was on it freshman year, sophomore year, and then prom court junior year. This year, I want to win. I think it’s stupid how we do it though. We do homecoming queen during fall homecoming and king during winter homecoming.</p>
<p>In your school, do you get nominated by votes or do you run for it? At my school, we nominate people. One person gets picked fresh, soph, jun year and then senior year there’s 3 seniors in competition for king/queen.</p>
<p>Yeah, everybody’s name on the grade is on a ballot, and we choose a few names for electing people to court. Then, the top 5 males and females are put on court.</p>
<p>After that, the whole high school does a vote for King and Queen.</p>
<p>I’m on it this year lol. Apparently a lot of people voted for me(even though I never asked, and I never thought I was popular). Now, hopefully my escort says yes heh.</p>
<p>Not to mention that now they want me for homecoming king too.</p>
