sooo...is anybody going?
Crap, I need a date.

We just had our homecoming last weekend. It was sweet, although I had a little trouble getting in, lol. Apparently you weren't allowed to wear flip-flops...:)

It's really informal at our school, so the only "date" someone would take is a bf/gf, or an opposite sex friend from another school.

dang, I wish our Homecoming were more like that. It's not a huge deal or anything, but right now is "date season" and the hot foreign exchange student has been snatched up, so now I'm feeling jealous and stressed. And constantly hearing "Who are you going to Homecoming with?" is annoying the crap outta me

Our Homecoming is this Saturday.
I don't have a date this year (but I still have time to get one), but thats fine. Most kids do have dates, but its not a big deal not to have one.
The group i'm going with has a lot of girls in it, so it'll be fine.

our homecoming was September 15

Ours was last weekend. I don't like the dances at our school, so I didn't go.

ours is oct 13th.

i need a date.

and i have to go because i'm chairing it ;)

We had one homecoming last weekend, one this weekend, and the best one (my home school's) next weekend :]. (Yes we have 3 high schools on ONE campus... so it's a month of partying!) I'm going with my boy but we're bringing some single friends and going as a group.

yeah!! :D October 13th! I'm excited.

the theme is "ALL AROUND THE WORLD"

last year was the rainforest. yipee

Lumberjack homecoming. Somebody do it, just once...

haha i'm going but at our school homecoming isn't a date type dance.
no, it's more of a skanky, lets hook up with 10 people in one night type dance, lmao.

so yeah, most people only go as couples if they're dating, though there are some people that take dates

Junior ball is more date-ish, but even then its acceptable to go with your friends. The only dance to which you really need a date is Senior Prom.

holy moly, our theme is "All Around the World" too. oh boy:P

Lumberjack Homecoming would be awesome.

HAHA. Lumberjack homecoming. That would be hilarious.

Our homecoming is just a semi-formal dance, no theme. I'm going with my friends this year since it's just too much of a hassle trying to get a date.

I'm excited. Although I'm starting to think that I've lost my ID card, because I can't seem to find it anywhere. :(

Our theme is "rescue me".

Our homecoming is in about... 4 hours.

On a Thursday?

Yeah. It used to always be right after the game (which is tomorrow), but the football players and cheerleaders never got there on time. It's odd.

Oh well. It's not like I'm going.

haha my homecomings soo dumb. they call it "homecoming" but it's not even a dance.. and it's just pizza inside our freaking cafeteria.. haha.. our football team stinks too. since we've had a varsity football team we have lost every single game.. haha we're horrible.

^^^That is lame, lol.

We have a great team and a great dance, and lots of school spirit, but I like that you don't feel obligated to go to the games (I've never been) or the dances. Basically, we like knowing that our school's great at everything, but in terms of involvement and participation and support, no one cares.
