Because some part of the application hasn’t been received?
I received an email from Stanford just LAST WEEK, even though I sent my application in two months ago and decisions are coming out in about a month!!!
<p>I KNOW!! i just received a letter from yale like a week or two ago telling me they were missing BOTH MY TEACHER RECS!! i hurried up and told my teacher but the fastest they could get them to me was in a couple days... i mailed it off but still.. admissions decisions are due REALLY SOON!! i guess i can kiss my yale acceptance goodbye..</p>

<p>When your missing stuff arrives, your applications will be given an evaluation just like everybody elses'.</p>
