Anyone else who can't relocate?

<p>I live in LA and I go to SMC. I decided to stay at my CC for another year. I was hoping to apply to UCSD again as my backup, but it looks like I'm stuck in LA... not such a bad thing...but this means it's either UCLA or CSUN, yikes!!</p>

<p>I thought about commuting to UCI, but I looked at the schedule of classes and traffic...definitely not worth the hassle for me.</p>

<p>Anyone else in a similar situation?</p>

<p>Does SMC offer the TAP program? It can pretty much secure your chances at getting into UCLA.</p>

<p>I got into UCLA with a 3.46 and I heard that anyone TAP certified with over a 3.0 is pretty much a shoe-in.</p>
