<p>I'm from LI and I know some students from my school who applied got letters and some information from NYU. I didnt. Did everyone on Long Island or the New York area here?</p>

<p>The key to whether you heard from NYU at this point isn't based on your location (LI here, too), but it is based on the program you applied to and whether they have made their final decisions. D applied to Steinhardt Vocal Performance (Music Theatre) and didn't hear yet. It seems that no one else did either. (No invites or packets received yet.) So before you compare yourself to people geographically, I would first see if others from your particular programs have heard. Of course, the bad news can be that since invites were sent to only those accepted and the packets are being sent to accepted people first.......no news may not be good news!! :(</p>
<p>I got my financial package today. They're supposed to come out this week along with the rest of the acceptances.</p>
<p>I live in NYC. 4 students in my school and 3 friends from other schools have received invitations. None, however, have received actual letters of acceptance.</p>

<p>I'm from northern VA and received my invitation to CAS about two/three weeks ago...I haven't gotten my official letter yet. The most official-looking thing I got so far was my invitation to the Presidential Scholars Program, and that came today.</p>

<p>Nothing in Long Island...which is funny b/c everyone else who applied to NYU from my school has either gotten accepted to Stern, Gallatin, CAS and one was GSPed </p>
