<p>I got my appeal back from UCLA. I was denied. I'm still waiting on Cal. Oh well. Off to UCSB :)</p>

<p>I sent my UCLA appeal letter a couple days after they posted the decisions. I wrote it several weeks before the release of the admission decision. I wanted to prepare myself.</p>

<p>My stats aren't great. My appeal dealt with the reason why my grades are the way they are. My current GPA is around a 3.0. This semester, with 22 units, I have gotten 6 As and 1 C or B.</p>

<p>your current GPA of 3.0 is still weak... and if it is current, that means it was lower than that when you applied..</p>

<p>My current GPA meaning my GPA before my Fall 2008 grades are applied. It was around a 3.0 when I applied.</p>
