<p>^yup, and I figure an AA can’t hurt when you’re applying for part time jobs and such while your still in your undergrad studies.</p>
<p>My point is people view community colleges with a negative connotation and this is why you should not get an AA if you transfer. Capish?</p>

<p>Yup, getting an AA in University Studies - Emphasis in Social & Behavioral Sciences! :] I had room in my schedule and took the vast majority of classes I need for it (w/out even knowing), so why the h*** not?</p>
<p>At least it’s something to put down when applying for jobs before getting a B.A or B.S.
Looks nice when transferring too. I’ll have IGETC and an AA by spring semester of the year that I plan to transfer (trans. for Fall 2011).</p>
<p>Yep… I didn’t even intend to apply for one, too. The counselor suggested that I could apply for “some degrees” when I was in to have the TAG form signed. The degrees that I received from CSM were: liberal arts, social sciences, and engineering =)</p>
<p>im getting an AA degree too for Communications (or so I think–that’s what I put on my app when I first started at my CC) hahaha. And I’m going to the commencement just for the heck of it. It’s only 26bucks anyway so it’s alright. Lol. Idk if i should be embarassed or what haha</p>
<p>Oh yeah, and I’m going to be able to do TAG too :D. IGETC + TAG + AA = Yay!</p>
<p>i didn’t feel like taking the necessary speech class, and maybe pe classes (can’t remember if they were required as well, i just stopped at the speech class lol), i might’ve thought about it if it meant no extra classes, but oh well, like cupertinotransfer and karol said, i’m not sure if i want an AA and BS on my record as opposed to only a BS…though i probably would have entertained the thought of one in something like environmental studies which is unrelated to my major and might help open some doors by showing i have some degree of specialization in a niche market? maybe? lol</p>

<p>my relatives throw huge expensive parties for passing middle school lol, though alas, unfortunately i have yet to receive such a party :[ lol</p>
<p>i had a high school graduation party…coincidentally it was also my 18th birthday the day i graduated high school…so it was a two in one…plus grad night…three in one.
truly one of the most memorable days of my life. </p>
<p>i only want two parties, i want one for my UC graduation (i already have the locations planned out…a real nice place at Berkeley and a nice place in L.A.)
and one big party when i get my doctorate degree…that one will be a destination party…
