Would UC's rescind my admission if I applied for and got awarded an Associates of Arts degree? I never mentioned me applying for an AA degree in the application or the update.

Thank you again for your help.

UCs won’t rescind your admission for an AA. Don’t worry about it.

i’m going to say no.

Yeah, I think you two are right about this. I mean, AA or IGETC, the former is a physical (paper/certificate) proof that I’ve completed two years of college, so me not mentioning this hopefully won’t anger the UCs.

This thread really brings me back to last year when I was waiting to hear back just like you guys.

I remember people would ask the weirdest stuff that I would never even think of in a million years. Every little crazy, odd thing imaginable. This thread reminds me of that.

Will they rescind me if I get an AA? lol, good times.

Gratz on your AA btw. I got my AA in history last year and now I’m in the history department at Cal.

Yep, my concerns borders on neurosis (seriously, I have to lighten up a bit)

Congrats on your going to Cal. Mind if I ask you your stats, Edward04 ?>

“Would UC’s rescind my admission…?” In my community college, I was told that I should be proud of my A.A. in Liberal Arts Honors and that UCLA actually wants to see that a community college transfer student has received this certificate (achieved a certain level of education after 2 years of studying, because it is supposed to make the student more goal-oriented). So the least you can do is worry about it Good luck!
