Anyone going to Honor's Day on Sat?

Anyone else going to the UCI Honor's Day this Saturday the 10th?
You were invited if you were selected for CHP.

I will be there. I am in So-cal (HB)

ill be there (biological science)

I'll be there, but I was too late to get in to the Bio lecture. I emailed UCI and haven't gotten anything back, so I'm a little miffed at that.

Think you can sneak me in, madamebovary?

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who went to both UCI and UCSD Honor's day to see what you thought of both schools and both Honor's programs.

actually i went to both. i prefer UCI over the SD one

Madamebovary, you live in Arcadia? I go to Rosemead High

yup arcadia

so if i didnt get an invite to honor's day that means i didnt make it into the honors program?

btw i haven't gotten accepted/rejected so i was just wondering how it goes

Yes, the all the people invited for the Honors program got mail back in Feb.
It is separate from the admissions decision but I think all the honors invitees have already heard that they were accepted via the web site and then follow up letters.

If you go to UCI and were not invited for honors program Fall 2007, you can apply to join after your first quarter. Form is on this page:

<a href="http://www.honors.uci.edu/prospective.php%5B/url%5D">http://www.honors.uci.edu/prospective.php</a></p>

"Current students at UCI or students transferring to UCI may apply to join the Program. You may get an application from the CHP office or you may download it here, print it out, and turn it in after completing a quarter of study at UCI. These students must have a 3.5 GPA in college courses taken in order to be eligible for consideration; however, those who are chosen usually have GPAs higher than this minimum."
