Yeah, that's what I was thinking about doing too. A lot of my friends are going to UCSC, but the rank is just so much lower compared to UCSB, and I thought about city then transfering to UCD, but I'm not willing to trade the college experience for that. So, unless my appeals actually go through, I'm pretty sure I'll be attending UCSB.

so karupt, where have you SIRed to?

I sent it into UCSB. My appeals was rejected from UCD, but I'm still waiting to hear from UCI... chances are I'll be at UCSB. I filled out the housing questionairre thing (your supposed to fill that out first before you mail in the packet). My first choice is Asian cultural floor at San Nicholas.

well... uci just rejected my appeals.

I'm heading to UCSB for sure now.

huh that seems odd ucd rejected you as ucsb is its equal ranking wise.. as well as seemingly more appealing. oh well. you'll be fine. im from the south bay.. and asian.

Yes I'm from the Bay Area, South bay.
No I'm not a minority (white)
I'm thinking about the Global Living interest floor in Manzanita.

I'm from San Diego
White female
I applied for Scholars floor at Anacapa (#1 choice)
I also applied for Substance-Free at Santa Cruz (2nd choice)

Anyone else applied for the asian floor?

i didnt' apply for any interest floors cuz the only one that interested me much was the global one in manzanita village, but i figured as a freshmen.... i probably won't get in m.v. and -- im gonna be a freshmen..... i'd imagine i'd be kind of just feeling the school out that year.

I'm from Southern California.
Latino male.
I chose the multicultural interest floor in FT as my first choice, and the one in Manzanita as my second choice.
