Anyone got any response on their appeals?

negative: After careful re-evaluation of your application, we regret that we are unable to grant your appeal for admission. Unfortunately, enrollment spaces for fall 2006 are extremely limited at this time. We wish you the best in your future college plans.

I got rejected yesterday as a transfer to CAL, but plan on appealing.

Could you provide me any information on what you included in your appeals, (letters of rec, etc) and what you stated in your letter to the appeals committee? It would help a great deal. Thanks a lot!!!

I posted my appeal letter for you:
<a href="http://www.thewabe.com/appeal.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.thewabe.com/appeal.html</a></p>

I also included a letter my counselor wrote, a copy of an article on which I am an author, a letter from the doctor I worked with at Cedars, and a letter from a doctor I worked with at USC. I also included my seventh semester grades in an official sealed envelope.

Hope this helps

All wonderful things to include in an appeal package. Remember, your appeal should make you appear stronger than your original application initially did.

I included a total of 5 letters of rec, 2 from teachers, and 3 from assorted other places. plus my own letter... i think i just bombarded them with too much info and they were too lazy to read it so they let me in :).

for berkeley appeals admits, starbuck and satchel should join up

Very nice appeal letter Scapermoya and Congradulations to you and all who have been appealed, and my condolences to those who have not. I wish you all fun and success in wherever you go. Serendipity!

scaper, i'd love to join, but i have yet to submit my SIR. im pretty sure im going to cal, but seeing as i submitted my SIR to UCLA first before berk lets me know, i have a facebook there :). i'll join as soon as i submit to berk and get my e-mail there!

I hope you get up to Cal satchel, let us know when you decide

Did Berkeley forget about some of it's appeal applicants? They have yet to reply to me...Hopefully I'll get accepted.
