Anyone got early letter=likely letter from Wharton?

what on earth is an early letter= likely letter ???

A likely letter is a letter sent out to applicants hinting acceptance without actually saying it. It's to try and persuade students to commit to attending their school. The Ivies are known for this sort of thing and they are mostly reserved for aspiring athletes.

I love how they phrase them as "likely letters." I heard from someone that the admissions jokingly told them unless they murder someone or flunk out of school, they will be accepted to the college they receive the likely letter. I never heard of Wharton sending them out so I am just curious.

I'm fairly sure Penn only sends them to recruited athletes and they (almost) always do ED, so...

I would have done ED to Wharton but I didn't want binding since I wanted to apply to Harvard and Stanford as well.
