<p>I got off the waitlist yesterday! I got a fedex with the welcome packet/letter. Also, my status online changed to let me know that I was accepted. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!</p>

<p>I got in today!!!! Northwestern here I come. I actually have rs1989 to thank for reminding me to check my status. I checked it and that beautiful "Congratulations" heading appeared. I still didn't get my fedex package but I should get it any day now.</p>

<p>Weinberg-- and as for the acceptance package, i got an email saying that the packages were overnighted today, so tomorrow or friday we should all be getting them. congrats btw everyone!! seems like weinberg is getting a lot of new members today!!</p>

<p>i'm really anxious... What did u guys do to get off waitlist? and what were your sat scores, etc. It seems like a lot of people are getting off the list. well.. except me T^T. I'm going to try writing a letter today. Congrats to all who got in...</p>

<p>I sent a short letter a week ago... saying it's my first choice. but that's about it.i guess i was kind of foolish, just waiting for it.</p>

<p>My S just checked his page and he's in at Weinberg!</p>

<p>Hermes - he just sent a short letter too, but he had just recently won a writing award, so also sent a copy of that. He had also called his regional rep to ask why he was w/l, but I doubt that had an impact.</p>

<p>just reiterate how much you want to go there, contact admissions, etc. make sure they know nu is your 1st choice</p>
