<p>Probably going to take SPC1017 this summer and I am absolutely terrified of public speaking. His ratings on rate my professor are fantastic but I was just wondering if anyone knew how many speeches you have to give, what tests are like, etc. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!</p>
<p>I’ve heard lots of people talk about taking classes with Ziegler and absolutely loving it- literally I’ve heard NOTHING that is bad about the guy. </p>
<p>That said, I never took public speaking so I don’t know how many speeches you have to do. All I really can say is that you’re going to want to get over your fear of public speaking, because it will serve you well in life. </p>
<p>I took the class Spring semester. We only had to do two 5-7 minutes speeches, and the speeches were in front of a class of only about 20 people (you do speeches in labs). I believe in Summer, the speeches will be even shorter than what we had to do.</p>
<p>Zeigler is as awesome as the RMP ratings indicate. The exams are more challenging than you’d expect, but if you attend class every day and pay attention, you should be able to get an A.</p>
