I know they haven’t obviously sent decisions out, but does anyone have # of applicants, accepted, rejected, deferred yet, or a prediction?

Also did Harvard say that they were sending results on the 14th(or a comparible date) and then send them on the second friday last year? Or did they say the second friday?

BTW the numbers I quoted... Anyone can search the archives of the Harvard Gazette and agree that ~this is what happens every time. Though I hope with all my heart that the number of acceptees are increases SOMEHOW this year, to include everyone here :)

What makes it so hard for me is that competition for internationals is like 10x more than the competition for US citizens. :(

Add to that the fact that Harvard has, for the past 6-7 years, been offering admissions to only TWO applicants PER YEAR from Pakistan. :( From a population of 150 million. I dont even want to compute the percentage!!

Plus, I didn't get an interview - the interviewer simply did not call me, though he did call the other two EA applicants from my city. And he told one of them that he's been interviewing applicants for the past 7 years and NO ONE has ever been accepted EA from Pakistan.

So I guess I know what my letter is going to say.

Though I have not, and will not, give up hope until I read it myself.
