<p>Figured I'd start a thread for people to post when they receive their ED 1 decision letters. Good luck to everyone! (I'd nervously waiting in CT... probably won't hear until the end of the week- you lucky people in SoCal are saved an extra day or two of waiting!)</p>

<p>I too am anxiously waiting in the northeast. I hope I find out tomorrow or sometime soon. I checked blogs from last year and it seems like most east coast ed applicants found out around the 13th...who knows maybe it'll be the 12th this year!</p>

<p>Haha zmtnman89 I did the same thing- I think we need to stop overanalyzing this though and (however hard it is) try to forget about it. If the letters didn't make it to Cali. applicants today, they probably won't reach us until Wed. or Thurs. <em>sigh</em></p>

<p>Also waiting from the East Coast (New Jersey). I guess it'll just depend whether they sent it out Friday/Saturday or yesterday... It's terrible having to wait! </p>

<p>I recently shipped something Priority Mail from Maine to Kentucky, and it took from Monday morning to Friday night, so it could be even longer than you guys are thinking.
Thank goodness I have so much work to do at school, otherwise I'd be insane.</p>

<p>I was hoping for my decision to arrive today, but unfortunatley nothing came. A friend of mine has already been informed of an acceptance from a LAC similar to Pomona, so I'm praying that my envelope comes tomorrow. It seems like the 13th was the big day for pomona ed applicants last year, so it may be this year too! good luck to everyone...keep your fingers crossed</p>

<p>Judging by the dates from last year's ED posters people started hearing around the 12th. If those of you in California still haven't heard I'm afraid I won't hear until maybe Saturday or even next Monday. :-/</p>
<p>I was reading the Swat forum, and someone in California who applied to Swat ED said that the mail he was getting took three days (so if mailed on tuesday, would arrive on friday).
I suppose it would be the same time going from California back to the east coast.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...... if mailed tuesday, they should get here friday. (hypothetically)</p>

<p>so I called the admissions office yesterday - they said that they're only MAILING decisions on Thursday. sorry to disappoint, but the letters are going to take a while.</p>
<p>They do get sent priority mail, so those of you on the West Coast could receive them by Saturday!</p>

<p>AAAahhhh i got in!!! I can't believe it...so happy. I was almost positive that it would come on Saturday, but was pleasantly surprised when I went to the mailbox. It was in a relatively large envelope in a folder that said "YES" all over it. Such a relief. Btw, i live in the northeast, so people around here should find out very soon.
