Hi,

We are out-of-state, and are anxiously awaiting to hear if my son will be getting any money from IU for a music scholarship. Has anyone heard anything yet?

My S has not heard anything either. He just received his letter of acceptance into Jacobs yesterday. We’re out-of-state also. It looks like some instruments have already received notification in the Master List of Acceptances. We’re supposed to hear by tomorrow…

My D has not heard anything either! We were suppose to hear by yesterday.

My D, in western NY, received notification of music merit award sometime this past week.

Just wondering for those who haven’t heard yet, what instrument do they play? Obviously, by my name here, it is voice for my son. There was a discussion about it on this site last year, and it was April 6th until everyone had heard. They were notified by e-mail last year.

My S plays cello.

My D plays trombone.

Guess I will call them tomorrow and see what is going on. We are out of state, and our state university wanted to know by April 15th, and we need some time to figure all this out. The IU Music Scholarships are the last thing we are waiting on, and this is my son’s first choice.

Called and they told us to send an e-mail, that eveything else went out on Friday, April 1st. We did early this morning. Still hadn’t heard anything, and my son called in the afternoon. They said they had forwarded his e-mail to the dept. that handles it. So it sounds like you have to send an e-mail if you haven’t heard anything yet.
