i have no idea what i want to take first quarter. i just know that i want it to be easy so i dont start college with a horrible gpa. any ideas for easy and/or fun classes?

ling 200, psych 101 and math 111 have been my easiest classes.

take ling100… it is very easy… all you study are grammar stuff, noun, verb, etc

SPHSC 100. it’s interesting and fun, but difficult to get into. (i believe 120 total spots are available and it fills up quick)

CLAS 210. Except it’s a lot of reading, so if you can’t handle reading then I’d avoid it.

Are there General Ed courses that everyone takes regardless of major? For example: science, math, social studies, etc.

Yeah, I am an English major (junior/almost a senior) but needed a few random credits so I took OCEAN102, an oceanography course that was pretty easy last quarter. This quarter I’m taking LING200 (outside of my 2 English courses) because it was suggested for my major AND because I’d heard it was fun/interesting. It’s definitely a cool class worth taking. Not too hard so far and really neat. Professor McGarrity it hilarious in lectures, too.

I’ve heard ESRM100 is a super easy science class, as well, though I haven’t taken it myself.

You can take whatever you want, just make sure it’s going towards you general education requirements that you need to take care of before you graduate. I mean, heck, I have some random freshmen/sophomores who aren’t English majors in my ENGL350 class. Heh.

There is a link with reviews for many UW classes: [WA courses](http://www.5caps.com/course.php?state=WA&ftype=course&dorms=0)
