<p>I submitted a poem long time ago to Poetry.com
(I don't know.. just for fun?)
and they sent me this little piece of paper that said
"Editor's Choice Award"
in an envelope.</p>
<p>Now.. since the award presentation seems to lack formality,
Is this award worth anything ?
I mean, does it have some authenticity of credibility?
(My conjecture is that this award is something like a participation award,
but who knows ?)</p>

One more thing.. there was this side note that was in ink on the
award paper that said '(My name) has an expressive style and ... '
Did anyone else receive this dubious award ?</p>

<p>I don't think its worth putting down on a college app. I was invited to an awards ceremony last year but didn't bother to attend.</p>

<p>its not a scam but they certainly are for profit and it isnt exactly a prestigious award</p>
<p>The only legit awards they give out are the monthly first, second and third place medals</p>
<p>Anything else is not worth putting on an application.</p>
