Is this contest legitimate. I know poetry.com is foolishness, but the National High School poetry contest shows up on fastweb and the winning poems are pretty good. However, they have a crappy website on GeoCities for christ sakes.</p>
<p>I tried to go to their site, but my office network won't let me do it, saying that it is a known site for loading spyware and other bad stuff. If something is set up on geocities or yahoo or aol or whatever, I would be instantly suspicious. And if there is a fee to enter the competition (or a fee to buy a book or whatever), RUN the other way.</p>
<p>I was a regional winner last year. Didn't win anything beyond that level though :-( Haha. But there's no app fee, so yeah, I think it's probably legitimate.</p>
<p>Yes, It's completely free. If it sshows up on FastWeb, that gives it some credit. I keep forgetting about it and missing the deadline. Maybe I should just submit something now so I don't forget again.</p>
