Well I just recieved a letter from CSLC (Congressional Student Leadership Conference) IT says conferences are college accredited, you will earn up to 3 college credits. I think u attend a conference meeting and it gives you hand on experience in your field. Should I apply and is CSLC prestigious for college admission? They also ask you to pay for it I think.

I attended a CSLC in the summer of 06 when i had just finished my sophomore year. It was a great experience and taught me alot. It DOES count as college credit, and depending on the high school, it can count as high school credit. The only negative about CSLC is that it is kind of cost-prohibitive as it was in the exces of $1200. That is the only negative thing i have to say about it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned alot. it is a once in a lifetime experience, which you shouldn't miss.

Oh and CSLC is a forum that can differ in areas. I personally took the legal forum, where we learned about laws and legal procedures. We also went to the capitol and participated in many exclusive activities. However, law is not the only forum. LeadAmerica also has ROTC forums, CSI forums, etc. Have fun if you decide to go
