My roommate is a First Wave scholar and she said that it really depends on when you applied. I think she said by the end of October, end of January, or beginning of March. She also said that if you get accepted before most people because of first wave then you have a good shot of getting in. Best of luck and I hope this helps!

I already got accepted to Madison, I applied late but was allowed to still complete the app before the material due list/ Do you get acceptance through an email?
Students under consideration for the First Wave program have their UW-Madison applications prioritized. It seems like a good indication about the scholarship since you’ve already been accepted to UW-Madison ahead of Early Admission hopefuls.
