Got Compton out of that, Danforth, and friends of music. Oh well. I was really hoping to get Danforth. :(

I got the research scholars money and biomedical summer program thing. I guess that means im accepted cool.

Hey scholarship finalists--did you find out via the WUSTL website or did they send you an e-mail or letter?

You check your status on the website, where you checked your application status.

Anyone know if NMFs find out any earlier than anyone else? Just goin out on a limb here lol

I think all the scholarship/USP decisions are out right now. So not really sure what you mean by that?

I also have a question: I got into the summer bio research thing (rejected from USP medicine and Moog though X_X). Does this mean I'm accepted to Wash U? Since you can only do the research if you go to WUSTL the following year?

frutiaspice -- Yeah, you can take the scholarship notification as an unofficial acceptance to Wash U. Congrats!

thanks snowia! :]

Sweet, i like this unofficial acceptance.

@frutiaspice - yea i did not get into USP medicine either. oh well i guess.

i'm still not accepted....but..i didn't applied to any scholarship..i knew that i wounldn't have received them........ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Why didn't I see this Biomedical Reseach program??!! I'm majoring in BME and this would've been a great opportunity...is this only for students who are going to be freshman the year after the program or for any undergraduate students?

I believe it is for before freshman year. I do not even know if I want to do it though. It takes a big chunk of the summer, assuming I even choose to attend.

srunni - get anything?

I did get ~14k in another scholarship from WashU, which I didn't explicitly apply for, as well as some work study/loans and other random stuff from WashU that added up to ~7k. I found out about that a month or so ago though - if you're going to get something like that, it'll probably be in the near future. I got mine at that time because I ED'd.

:( about the biomedical thing..oh well. I probably won't be able to bring myself to do much anything productive this summer anyway ;)

Meh, didn't get Moog or Danforth but didn't really expect to...

I got Summer Scholars Program in Biomed though! Does that mean I'm admitted?

@bballdude: At least we got something, right? ;)

so, can someone weigh in on a person's chances if they don't get finalist status for merit scholarships? I know they say that it's not linked to admissions, but how good/bad would your chances be if you were already passed up for the scholarship? does that subtly mean you're lame?

(I am in above situation)

@ molliemeow - I was not given the engineering scholarship or USPmed. I only got the research scholarship and the biomed summer program. However, not only does that mean I got into wash u, but I also got a likely letter from Duke a week ago (350 are sent out of 20000 applicants) and got a 32000 dollar scholarship from U of Mich (they do not give many, esp for engineering). I also got an interview from HPME and was told I had an impressive resume. You just have to realize that there are not many to go around at Wash U. I was competing for 12 engineering scholarships and plus if you consider they are split for genders, I was really only competing for 6 scholarships. I guess we will still have to see how it goes for HPM, but we are still competitive, there are just not many scholarships.

you got an interview for HPME and a practical full-ride to Umich?! you must be awesome... are you from michigan?

Yea I'm from Michigan. It's not a michigan specific scholarship though. It specifically stated I was competing with everyone (although out of state get more because they have to cover out of state tuition). I would not say awesome, just fortunate :-)

Anyone know the date everyone else (non-scholarship) will find out? Like, when its posted online?
