The only thing bugging me is tripping on the stage or something. Do you guys have any worries and ways of dealing with it?

yes lol i am contemplating on whether or not to dance or something as i cross the stage lol

i want to do something stupid so bad just because

lol yea thats another one, but i know almost everyone at my school so i think i will have a decent amount of cheers lol hopefully

The students aren’t allowed to cheer and scream, so the volume of yells are based off of how large the families are. Less embarrassing.

I’m not too worried. I’ve been to two graduations (I should have been to three, but I came late, whoops) and no one’s ever tripped.

@pierre: My brother did a frat stomp across the stage when he graduated from college. My father was enraged.

@Millancad LOL

"to make you more nervous:

it turns into a popularity contest by who has the most people screaming and cheering when they call your name, so everyone’s level of popularity (or lack-of) will be shown publicly to everyone and all the crowds watching"

WOW, i never really thought about this. now i really am more nervous, lol. THANKS A LOT.

& i get nervous about my heels making a lot of noise. idek why, i just don’t want it to be like silent+the sound of my footsteps across a long stage, lol. that & tripping…-_-

Wow… I’ve never heard of graduation where people can cheer while others are walking o.o

You could just not go.

@mckyle9423 you arent suppose to , but hell as seniors we will break all the rules

don’t be nervous about graduation- be excited!!! The comment about the most cheers is the most ridiculous thing i’ve ever heard… by senior year everyone usually knows everyone so that doesn’t seem like an issue at all. Anyone who gets hung up over how many people cheer for someone is a complete loser (no offense lol).

I sort of like how it is at my school. There’s no clapping from anyone because we just all line up and the principal hands out diplomas (which are actually fake ones made of blank sheets of paper because they can’t trust us with the real ones) one after the other for fifteen minutes straight, then clapping… and then, the end. I just hope the person will pronounce my name right, then I’ll be happy.

I still remember volunteering at the graduation last year. I can’t believe it’s been a year already and I’m graduating. It’s so… unreal.
