Anyone only applied to only one college here?

If so, which was it and why not further appliances? I'm one. Got the acceptance letter and couldn't be bothered to apply to any others.

I am only applying to Harvard RD.

lol :)

back in HS, i only applied to George Mason University and Virginia Commonwealth University. I did this because i was expecting to goto GMU and applying to VCU was just a back up that my councelor forced me to do so.

I ended up going to community college while working for two years, and I now goto a school that i didn't even consider back then. Life is unexpected!

I applied to two but the first one I applied to (top choice) has rolling admissions so I got accepted before I heard back from the second school, so I ended up skipping my audition for the second school.

I applied to two, but only because my hs counselor basically forced me to. I knew where I wanted to go, and wanted to only apply there (I knew I would get in- my grades/scores were alot higher than the average), but she said I should apply to at least one other school. I still ended up going to the one I wanted to, so it was really a waste of time even applying to that other school.

I only applied to University of Florida. I knew I was going to be accepted. I considered applying to more selective schools, but then I realized there was no point. Even if I got in it would be a waste of time and money. Plus I had no clue where else to apply.

I only applied to Brown ED.

only applied to BC and georgetown EA. I got into both, chose GU and am happy to never look at another app again.

I only applied to ASU.

Id I don't get into Harvard I am screwed though. I am pretty confident I'll get in.

I only applied to one b/c on my tour they told me that I wouild have no problem getting in. I got my acceptance letter 2 weeks after I applied :)

No but I should have.

I only applied to one because I got in ED.
I was ****ed if I got turned down/deferred though. I would have had to do all of my other applications in 15 days and I hadn't so much as started any of them (but I already had the basic CommonApp done from my ED school.)
Life can be nice like that sometimes.

1 application, 1 acceptance. Macaulay honors college ED.

I applied only to UIUC and got in.

My kids applied to a bunch of schools but three of their friends applied to only one school each: One to Pitt (accepted), one to Brown (rejected), one to Yale (deferred). The Brown and Yale girls are now scrambling.

I only applied to Wagner College ED

I think it's silly to apply to only one school if that school is an Ivy or similar. You should always expect to get deferred or worse at those schools, and be pleasantly surprised if you get accepted.

Well if you're already in to your dream school, duh you're not going to apply anywhere else. I don't get the point of you asking. I only applied to one safety state school for personal reasons that included staying close to take care of my family.
